The main idea for this project is the change of perception between what you initially think the object is and what it actually is. The first part of this assignment shows the similarities between ink in water and the smoke from incense. At a first glance, one might question what the substances are. For example, one may think the ink is some form of black smoke. It shows how perceptions change when you associate one substance with another. In this case, one is in gas form and the other is in liquid form yet they appear very similar. In the second part of the video there is a comparison between the bubbles created when a champagne bottle is opened and the bubbles created when water boils. At fist the melted ice appears to be boiling water but as the video progresses backwards, one can see that it is the remains of a melted ice cube. As an interesting twist I present the change between the decreasing bubbles from the champagne bottle and the decreasing bubbles shown in a backwards interpretation of a melted ice cube.

"Doodle"
This is my animation project. I decided to make a rotoscope image by using photoshop to draw on an image/video.
